2010 Rowing World Cup 2 - Munich, Germany
Once again, ex-Minerva members Vicky Thornley, Heather Stanning and Helen Glover were all selected into the GB Team for the second World Cup of the 2010 season. Again, Vicky rows in the Women's Eight whilst Heather and Helen race in the Women's Pairs.

Fellow Bath Alumni include Marcus Bateman who won Gold in Bled in the men's double sculls and Adam Freeman Pask who won bronze in the Lightweight Men's Pairs. Both will be looking for medals again at this World Cup Regatta.

The GB Rowing Team's Start Scheme sponsored by Siemens is a unique talent identification and development scheme. The programme is funded by UK Sport with Lottery money and since 2006 is sponsored by Siemens. The programme at Bath has identified six athletes for Great Britain teams in the past five years including two U23 World Champions. The athletes in Bath train at the University of Bath and at Minerva Bath Rowing Club.
